Les Tireux d’Roches
Les Tireux d’Roches will offer a free show on Saturday, July 25 at 9 p.m. live on Mémoire et Racines’ Facebook page.
Les Tireux d’Roches have come a long way since that famous evening at the small café in St-Élie-de-Caxton in Mauricie where everything started in 1998. Over time, the little garnotte path turned into a tarmacadam road, crisscrossing China, Europe and America. The band has presented more than 1000 shows since its inception. Wherever they go, Les Tireux d’Roches undeniably evokes moments of rejoicing and camaraderie. Their approach to the folk and traditional world is seen as a world music firmly rooted in Quebec soil. Their most recent album Tarmacadam was released in November 2017.
